Photo Courtesy of TN Athletics Just one week after Texas Tech, led by NiJaree Canady, knocked defending national champion Texas and Reese Atwood out of the No. 1 position in The Oklahoman’s Super 16 rankings, Tennessee has climbed into the top spot. The Volunteers earned overwhelming support in the latest poll following statement wins over Nebraska, UCLA and Florida State at the Clearwater Invitational. Tennessee hasn’t just navigated one of the toughest schedules in the country unscathed — it has done so in dominant fashion, outscoring opponents by an average margin of 7.2 runs per game.

🥎 Softball Season Returns to Conway! Coastal Carolina will begin its 2026 schedule at home with the Kickin’ Chicken Classic, set for Feb. 6–8, as Arkansas, Virginia, and Akron travel to Conway for the event.
Coastal Carolina Softball hosted a prospect camp that welcomed athletes from ninth grade and up, giving players the opportunity to showcase their skills and compete in a collegiate environment. The camp brought together talented young softball players for on-field instruction, drills, and live evaluations while providing a firsthand look at the Chanticleers’ program and facilities.
